| I came very close to marriage a few years ago. Everything was set to go, so to speak. But the night before the wedding my husband-to-be made an unfortunate mistake- but very fortunate for me!! You see, I discovered that he slept with a woman in another town. He said that the guys got him "drunk" and he could not remember a thing. Poor man.I felt so sorry for him that I collected my tears and bag of belongings and headed straight for the nearest exit! It was a tad embarrassing to call the wedding off, but what the heck- It was only the rest of my life! Spare me the endless heartaches- so I bought a one-way ticket out of Marriageville and never looked back!! |
